I am very happy because IUS was chosen as the best University in Balkans for the second year in a row. This year, we made a huge step forward by including first private primary school Isa Bey Ishaković into SEDEF family. Next year, we hope that we will open our high school as well. On behalf of IUS and Foundation of Education Development and on behalf of our 310 employees, I would like to say that today is their but also our happiest day and. Congratulations!”

“We believe that you will be great ambassadors and representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey and other countries”, said Mayor of Ilidža Municipality Dr. Senaid Memić.

Prof. dr. Numan Kurtulmuş, deputy to the Prime Minister of Republic of Turkey said:

„It is a great honor today to say a farewell to so many young people and to wish them good luck in their future. I sincerely wish to all of you to have a very successful life and careers. In fact, the whole story about the International university of Sarajevo is a story of one great success: when we were setting the foundations for an international university in Sarajevo, back in 2001, even in our wildest dreams we couldn't foresee what kind of success it will turn out to become, for all of you, for the people of Turkey and for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ottoman empire had ruled these lands for almost six centuries and all the people, Bosniaks, Serbs, Croats, Albanians, Bulgarians, Romanians and others lived in prosperity under the famous Pax Ottomana. Unfortunately, the events that happened exactly one hundred years ago, drove the Ottomans out of the Balkans, and we became separated. To my great joy, we see today that the peoples of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina are united again. Last, but not least, I wish to congratulate to all graduates and to give to you this message: today you have finished this school, but from tomorrow on, the real school of life is waiting for you. I hope that we gave you a good preparation for that school. Congratulations!“
