IUS Professor Emeritus Asif Šabanović among 2% of scientists in the world with the highest impact of citations

On October 19, 2021, one of the world's largest publishers of scientific literature, ELSEVIER BV, published a list of 2% of scientists in the world with the greatest impact of citations throughout their careers including the year 2020. In the article titled: “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators" signed by Professors John PA Ioannidis, Kevin W. Boyack and Jeroen Baas of Stanford University in California (USA) the list of 2% of scientists in the world with the highest impact of citations was created based on a scientific analysis of data available in Elsevier's citation and bibliographic database of the SCOPUS group of researchers from Stanford University.

The above mentioned list includes four members of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, among whom is IUS Professor Emeritus Asif Šabanović. International University of Sarajevo would like to use this opportunity to congratulate Prof. Dr. Šabanović for this great achievement, and wish him a lot of success in the future.
