IUS Participated in Educational Fairs in Turkey

International University of Sarajevo (IUS) took part in two major educational fairs in Turkey during March 2017. IUS was present at the IEFT Fairs in Eskisehir, Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul. The University was also present at the the EURIE 2017 Summit, bringing together over 2500 participants from 53 countries as the sole representative from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of these events is to promote universities and its study programs among high school students interested to study abroad. 

In Eskişehir, IUS was represented not only by the Faculty of Law Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Dursun, International Relations Officer Ms. Zühal Güvener, IUS Istanbul and Ankara Office delegates, but also by IUS students Nermin Sejdić and Ahmed Hodžić, who are currently on  Erasmus+ student exchange at Anadolu University. 

In Istanbul, the team included Vice Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Faruk Berat Akçeşme and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bal. The event was also visited by the President of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo, Founder of IUS, Mr. Hasan Topaloğlu.  

The fairs and the EURIE 2017 Summit were both very well attended, and our country and University attracted immense attention and achieved visibility in many different ways.  

These events contributed to presentation of IUS and BiH as an attractive destination for students to study abroad.
