On Wednesday, March 20th, 2013, at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), an "IUS Open Day" event was organized. On this occasion, high school students with their teachers and parents as well as many other prominent guests visited IUS.
The aim of this event was to have an on-site information given to all interested visitors of the event about the International University of Sarajevo, its work and in particular the possibilities for students to study at the contemporary undergraduate and graduate programs the University offers.
On the same day, in the morning, IUS organized a test in general culture and mathematics for granting scholarships to students interested to study at IUS. More than 600 registered students, the graduates from 85 high schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina took in the exam.
The International University of Sarajevo organized transportation for high school graduates to the testing site, and for the best placed candidates at the testing exam, IUS will grant scholarships for four-year education at IUS.
