IUS Faculty of Law Hosted "Vis Moot Written Training" Workshop

 IUS Faculty of Law hosted "Vis Moot Written Training" Workshop between October 17 and 20, 2019. The workshop was organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). The training was opened by the official address of the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye Fatma Mataracı, where she welcomed the Vis Moot Teams from the University of Zenica, University of Mostar, University of Tuzla, and for the very first time, from IUS. IUS FLW students will participate for the very first time at the very prestigious competition in the area of International Commercial Arbitration Law, namely; The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot that takes place each year in Vienna, Austria. The coaches of the IUS Moot Team are Assist. Prof. Dr. Emir Sudzuka and Ms. Fahira Brodlija, MA. Members of the Moot Teams had the opportunity to meet one another and exchange ideas at IUS campus. They also had the opportunity to improve their legal writing and research skills under the instruction of international experts. After four days of training, the team embarked on a seven-month journey until the oral hearings in Vienna hoping for the best results.
