IUS Faculty of Law (FLW) Organizes Events for Prospective Students

High school students recently entered the yearly IUS scholarship testing in order to earn study scholarships at various programs. A significant number of students took the test to enroll at Faculty of Law which also organized a Poster Competition enabling best applicants to earn additional study scholarships. Upon completion of the competition and first scholarship testing, FLW organized online and on campus meetings for prospective students.

On Tuesday, 25 May, high school students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the online meeting organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye Fatma Mataraci, Dean of Faculty of Law, welcomed the prospective students, followed by faculty members, alumni and current students. The meeting was organized for the Faculty to get to know the prospective students and to introduce the Faculty of Law. Participants of the meeting were informed about legal studies at IUS, employability opportunities after graduation, legal practice in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Erasmus opportunities for FLW students… Alumni and current students shared firsthand experience with their prospective peers. The main point underlined during the online meeting was the significance of active studentship for success during and after undergraduate studies.

The following day, May 26, prospective students visited IUS campus. They had a tour of the campus followed by coffees at IUS Café where prospective students had further chance to get to know the Faculty of Law. The campus visit was hosted by the Director of International Relations Office at IUS, Ms. Zuhal Guvener (MA), members of the Faculty of Law and a group of current students.
