IUS and Pamukkale University Entered into Memorandum of Understanding

Pamukkale University and International University of Sarajevo (IUS) entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which the two institutions signed on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2017 at the IUS premises, in order to set forth the intentions for collaboration, cooperation and interaction, to strengthen scholarly and cultural ties between the two institutions for their mutual benefit.

Through this MoU, the two institutions will be able to offer joint degree and research programs. The MoU will enable joint organization of conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops, cultural activities, and educational programs in the area of lifelong learning. In terms of friendship and exchange, this MoU demonstrates the intention to establish student and staff exchange between the two institutions.

The delegation of Pamukkale University that attended the signing ceremony included Pamukkale University Rector Dr. Hüseyin Bağ and General Secretary Dr. Mehmet Ali Sarı whilst on behalf of the IUS the ceremony was attended by the President of IUS Board of Trustees Dr. Hasan Zuhuri Sarıkaya, IUS Rector Dr. T. Erkan Türe, and Vice Rector Dr. Metin Toprak.

Pamukkale University is the educational institution in Denizli, Turkey, that in the academic year 2016-17 had a student body of 59,015. It includes 15 faculties, 6 institutes, 4 academies and 12 vocational schools, and 40 research centers.
