Istanbul University (IU) and International University of Sarajevo have signed the Protocol about joint programs

 

The International University of Sarajevo, as a socially responsible institution, year after year strives to improve the conditions of education at the IUS. Apart from having excellent connections with the labor market through various agreements, IUS is expanding its cooperation with other universities throughout Europe.

Therefore, it is our great pleasure to inform you that Protocol on the Establishment of International Undergraduate Joint Programs between Istanbul University (IU) and International University of Sarajevo has been signed on November 14.2019. The three study programs that will be offered through this agreement will be Economics, Management, and Political sciences and international relations. A mutual transfer program of study will prepare students of both institutions to study their preparatory program (ELS) and first two academic years at IUS and then continue for third and fourth year at IU.

The Protocol was signed by the IU rector, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak, and IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yildirim.

This protocol will become effective once it has been approved by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
