Graduation ceremony for Class 2012

On Friday, 15 June 2012th the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) proudly graduated the fourth generation of IUS students who are managed to satisfy the high standards of our University.

International University of Sarajevo celebrated the Graduation of the fourth generation of Undergraduate and Masters students of the class of 2012 - 140 students and 16 undergraduate students of master's and doctoral programs have successfully completed their programs.

Rector of the IUS, Prof. Dr. Özer Cınar, at the start of graduation ceremonies, welcomed the students and the attendees saying that the goal of the university to become a leader in the field of education in BiH.

Special awards were given to the best students of faculties: Esma Adilović, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Amina Krvavac, Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) Ensar Jusufović, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS)

As a reward for diligent study in recent years and the excellent results they gained, the following students received special awards from the Rector, members of the Board of Trustees and the Foundation for the Development of Education Sarajevo: Betül Şimşek and Büşra Acun, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Büşra Bağdat and Haris Kurtagić, Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA) Mahir Zukić and Halil Karayel, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS)

With the highest grade point average, Esma Adilović became the Valedictorian of the Class of 2012, and received a full scholarship to continue her studies at the graduate level at IUS.

The graduation ceremony was attended by not only students and members of their families and friends, but also important public figures from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Turkey and abroad.

The program ended with a concert of famous Bosnian band Divanhana and a cocktail in the lobby of the main the Faculty building.
