The created artistic pieces are painted with a special fluid consisting of animal bile.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Şemsettin Ziya Dağlı spoke during his speech about the painting techniques, the use of special brush made of horsehair and rose stems, and the special earth colors applied to the liquid while painting different forms. Prof. Dağlı emphasized some of the specifics of ‘'Ebru’' art. ‘’Since the artist cannot know what the piece will look like until the paper is removed from the container where it was made, no one can make two identical Ebru artistic pieces’’ - said Prof. Dağlı.
