Dr. Ena Kazić Took Part in “First International Congress of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy”

“First International Congress of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy” was organized in Sarajevo from October 18 – 21, 2018, by UNICEF and Bosnian and Herzegovinian Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Association. More than 400 researchers and experts in practice took part in this interdisciplinary gathering, as well as Dr. Sc. Ena Kazić, assistant professor at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) Faculty of Law.

She presented two papers titled: “Nils Chrise and his contribution to the development of the contemporary concept of restorative justice" and "Review of the new features in the new Criminal Code of the Republic of Srpska in terms of protection of children and minors from sexual violence". In her first presentation at the Congress, Dr. Kazić presented all characteristic elements of the concept of restorative justice, which were derived from the experience and work of one of the most famous and most cited contemporary criminologists. In her second presentation, she presented the results of normative, historical and comparative analysis of all “nomotechnical”, system and material novelties concerning legal regulation on child and minors protection from sexual violence in the Republic of Srpska.
