On Thursday, the 27th March of 2014, a Deputy Governor of Varaždin County, Mr. Alen Kišić paid a visit to the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). He was welcomed by the IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Doc. Dr. Mohammed Hadžiabdić and Secretary General Emir Hadžikadunić.
During the meeting, Rector Oğurlu and Mr. Kišić discussed about the arrival of Croatian students to study at the International University (IUS), and they expressed the hope and desire for further continuation of the successful cooperation between the Varaždin County and IUS.
