Cooperation Agreement signed between IUS and Chamber of Economy the FBiH

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) signed an agreement on cooperation with the Federal Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 23, 2015, in Sarajevo. Signatories of this beneficial agreement, on behalf of the two institutions were Vice President of the Chamber of Economy the F BiH, Mirsad Jašarspahić and IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu signed the agreement as representatives of the respected institutions. The signed agreement defines a business and professional cooperation between the Chamber of Economy the F BiH and the IUS, in the field of adult education, including professional education, training, vocational training, retraining and upgrading of knowledge of work staff.  According to signed agreement IUS Lifelong Learning Center will conduct requested educational program at IUS. 

Business and professional collaboration will include all forms of adult education in all economic sectors, in order to achieve common interests of significance for the development and improvement of the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu  expressed satisfaction with the beginning of this well established cooperation, stressing that economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina should be a priority for everyone in the future. 

Vice President of the Chamber of Economy the F BiH, Mirsad Jašarspahić stressed that the Chamber is continuously working on the needs of the economy for the professional training, development, and retraining of staff, and believes that through partnership with IUS it will easier respond to the demands of the labor market in the future. Director of the IUS Life, Hilal Karić emphasized that these forms of cooperation can significantly contribute to better qualifications of employees and the unemployed population as well. She has also mentioned that for the purposes of theoretical and practical part of education will engage experts in fields and available capacity for successful implementation of signed agreement.
