Congratulations to the students of the First private Primary School "Isa - Beg Ishaković" on winning II place on the occasion of Safer Internet Day 2016 in BiH

On the occasion of Safer Internet day in Bosnia and Herzegovina on February 9th  2016, which was this year marked under the slogan "Give your contribution to a better Internet" in collaboration with the Center for Safer Internet of Croatia - Center for Missing and Exploited Children (CNZD) from Osijek an online contest was held for primary school children on the topic of security on the internet. The competition consisted of an online quiz with questions related to the safe use of the Internet, followed by the online competition, through which winners of the quiz among children who accurately respond more than 80% and more were announced.

Awards were given to:

  • I prize, tablet won student of elementary school "9. Maj ", Pazarić;
  • II prize, mobile phones have won the students of the First Primary School; primary school "Isa- beg Ishaković", Sarajevo, and
  • III prize, headsets, won the elementary school "Ahmed Muradbegović" Zenica; and students of elementary school "Aleksa Šantić", Sarajevo, and the elementary school "Humci" Ćelić.

The awards were presented to pupils from following sponsors; Microsoft, M:tel, Logo soft, IMTEC, and the organizers awarded the students. The ceremony was attended by Rector of International University of Sarajevo members of the SEC Committee, Sarajevo Prof.Dr. Yurcel Ogurlu ,representatives of the Ministry of Security/Department for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, Regulatory Agency for Communications of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a representative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth and Educational-Pedagogical Institute of Sarajevo Canton.
