The conference named as "Mevlânâ Rûmi and Spiritual Journey" was held on 28th of December at IUS Conference room. Our dear guest whose name is Şaban Karaköse tried to describe the life of Rûmi from beginning until his death. In addition to this, Rûmi's relations with Şems-i Tebrizi, Rûmi's way of thinking and his characteristic of writing were all explained by giving examples from several resources, particularly from his major work which is Matnawiye. As it was mentioned in the conference Rûmi is considered as the founder of Sufi school of thought and his followers formed the order of Mevlevi.
