CoderDojo programming school started at IUS

On Saturday, 07/04/2018, at the premises of the International University in Sarajevo, started the programming school CoderDojo.

School is organized by BIT Alliance and IUS Lifelong Learning Center and it will last eight weeks, every Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

At the very beginning, Mirsada Mehremic, one of the coordinators, briefly informed the audience about ongoing cooperation between the IUS/IUS Lifelong Learning Center and the BIT Alliance, and also about of impact of the global phenomenon CoderDojo.

The CoderDojo school was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Sencer Jeralan, Dean IUS FBA. In his opening remarks, Prof. Yearalan shared his inspirational story and wished successful work to future young programmers.

General Manager of the BIT Alliance, Armin Talic, talked about his successful career and encouraged school students to make programming their future call.

Amila Avdukic, HR Manager of Mistral Technologies shared with the audience the story of this successful IT company that still needs programmers.

IUS VACD studentFatima Irznic, introduced students mentors and student assistants while IUS CS student Adem Dinarevic talked about planned activities during the programming school.

The IUS CoderDojo team consists of the following students; Adem Dinarevic, Nedim Karakas, Ervin Sabotic, Benjamin Fajic, Tarik Pasic, Fatima Irznic, Ahmed Hodzic, Zehra Saric, Enisa Zatega, Amina Tucakovic, Mirza Jasarspahic and Merisa Ahmetspahic.
