Assist. Prof. Dr. Sukree Langputeh gave a lecture at IUS

Vice Rector of Fatoni University in Thailand, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sukree Langputeh gave a lecture at the International University of Sarajevo on “Islamic understanding in Southeast Europe vis-a-vis Southeast Asia: A Comparative Survey” on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. During the lecture, Prof. Langputeh spoke about the differences between European countries, more specifically Bosnia and Herzegovina and Thailand, as well as the benefits of the differences that are currently present. At the same time, while presenting his work, Prof. Langputeh invited all students to visit Thailand and discover a new and different world. IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu welcomed the distinguished guest in his office during which he discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the two universities and current projects. Vice Rector Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali, Coordinator of the Balkan Studies Center (BSC), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Caksu and Prof. Dr. Mesut Idriz from Social and Political Sciences Program of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) attended the meeting as well.
