Asia - Theater of the future

Prof. Dr. Anis Bajrektarević gave a lecture titled ''Asia - Theater of the future'' at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Organized by the International Relations Office (IRO), the lecture was attended by IUS professors and students. Prof. Bajrektarević is an expert in international law and global politics, and currently resides in Vienna (Austria) where he does his scientific research and work. During the lecture, Prof. Bajraktarević drew attention to very important changes and new visions of the world. "After World War I, only one economically powerful state was not from Europe. Now, only one state that we define as economically strong is not from Asia" - said Prof. Bajrektarević. At the end of the lecture, students and professors had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange experiences through interaction with the Professor. Distinguished professor has extensive scientific experience. He has written and published a number of books that have been then published and translated to more than 20 languages. During his career, he also worked as a pro bono expert in many academic institutions, think tanks and intergovernmental institutions such as the UN, OSCE, Council of Europe and others.
