Another CNC Operator Course Completed at IUS Life

On Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at the Architecture Lab of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) another cycle of CNC Operator training was completed. The course was organized by the IUS Life – Lifelong Learning Center, and it was six weeks long including its theoretical introduction and main focus on practical training.

The participants were able to learn about the corresponding software, and to work individually and in groups on CNC machine and CO2 laser, and 4-axis CNC machine which has some great advantages and applications in wood and metal industries.

Dr Sencer Yeralan, Dean of IUS Faculty of Business and Administration, awarded certificates to successful participants and thanked them for choosing IUS for their training.

The course instructor was certified CAS / CNC instructor Adnan Škulj.

One of the participants, mechanical engineering student Tomislav Vrbičić, shared his impressions with us: “It was my pleasure to meet instructor Adnan Škulj and to be part of this team. As I am student of mechanical engineering, this course will certainly contribute to my development after I complete my studies.”

Hamza Hadžić is a law graduate from Kiseljak, and he decided to change the course of his career. He has always been interested into CNC machines and he believes that this course will help him to get employed in the country or abroad.

The next cycle of the CNC Operator Training is planned to start in the last week of January 2018.

The January cycle will offer participants the opportunity to attend training which will last 10 hours longer. The course will last 50 instead of previous 40 hours.

The course fee for January cycle will be 500BAM.
