On Wednesday, June 25th, 2014, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) and Al Maram educational and consulting Company from the Kingdom of Jordan officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding. By signing the Memorandum, this has created a more quality communication and mutual cooperation in the field of higher education, culture and internationalization.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by IUS Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and CEO of Al Maram Company from Jordan, Dr. Saad Ali Albasheer. In the document, it is stated that the two institutions will be actively working together for a period of five years on joint projects, especially in the areas of scientific research, exchange of students, lecturers, academic and administrative staff, as well as cooperation in the field of publishing scientific publications. ''This will give an opportunity to IUS who is as an international center of higher education, to become the center of international exchange of experts'' – said Rector Oğurlu.
