Ahmet Kemal Baysak visited IUS with delegation from Turkey

Ahmet Kemal Baysak, Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey and member of the Board of Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), a founder of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), led a delegation from Turkey that visited IUS on Monday, July 6, 2015. IUS Vice Rector, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ali and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut welcomed the distinguished guests in the main amphitheater of the University. 

The Delegation consisted of representatives of Izmir Municipality, members of non-governmental organizations and social sectors and business entities in Izmir. This delegation is visiting places in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a week and the Memorial Center in Srebrenica. Speaking about the importance of organizing and linking BiH Diaspora, Baysak said that Turkish people in Izmir care about young people especially students from BiH. "We cannot be like the sand that the wind blows to different places. We have to be united and strong as a rock. I present IUS to you because this is an investment that promises to be a leader in the region and the University that has remarkable results and achievements in its previous work" - said Baysak.

Vice Rector Ali and Dean Korkut presented the work of the University, talked about its international dimension as well as future plans and activities in promotion of IUS that is directed towards potential students from all over the world. At the end of the visit, the delegation visited the IUS Campus, research centers and laboratories.
