Activities of new Erasmus+ students of IUS

Students of the International University of Sarajevo who will participate in Erasmus+ exchange program in academic year 2016/2017 already started with preparations for going abroad.
On Thursday, June 30, 2016, they had an opportunity to participate in Erasmus+ program promotion organized by EU Info Center in Sarajevo. The aim of the promotion was to inform students what can they expect at other universities inside EU. During the promotion, following persons addressed the students: Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, chief of EU Delegation in B&H and special representative of EU, Helene Skikos, European Commission Coordinator for education and culture for West Balkan region and Berina Šabanović, representative of Erasmus Students Network.
Bosnian students who got the opportunity to be part of big Erasmus+ family shared their experience with others. IUS students will spend one semester, starting from September, at different European universities through Erasmus+ program. Also, IUS expects many students from all around the Europe to come at IUS and study in Sarajevo as a part of the exchange program.
Erasmus+ program lasts from 2014 to 2020 and supports activities in education, training, youth and sport in all sectors of lifelong learning including education, adult education, youth activities, etc. All information about Erasmus+ Program can be found on the official website:
