18 High-Level Businessmen from India Visited IUS

A delegation of 18 high-level businessmen from India, accompanied by the Ambassador of BiH to India, H.E. Sabit Subašić visited IUS on April 11, 2017. The delegation visiting Sarajevo this week was from Indian state Maharastra and from Mumbai, and was headed by the honorary consul of BiH to Maharastra and Gou and President of Indo-Bosnian business forum Sudhir Navalkha uhas Mantri. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among the businessman were the factory owners who have industrial sites in many countries all over the world.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by IUS delegation headed by Rector Tahsin Erkan Türe. The guests had an opportunity to see a video presentation of the IUS. IUS Rector addressed the guests and said that IUS open for all suggestions for cooperation, whilst the topics mostly discussed in the meeting were possibilities for cooperation in fields of ICT, Biotechnology, and Tourism.

The delegation included heads of state funds and private companies came to BiH to explore the possibilities in the fields of civil engineering, food production, energy industry, tourism, information technology, the pharmaceutical industry, and education. H. E. Sabit Subašić said for Bosnian media that this is the first large delegation of businesspeople from India that has ever visited Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he believes their interest for BiH and the region is high.
