Nurturing Student Well-being: PSY Workshop on Academic Success

PSY Workshop on Academic Success

The Psychology (PSY) study program organized a workshop titled "Keys to Academic Success" on December 22, 2023. The workshop was facilitated by dedicated Psychology students who volunteer at the IUS Psychological Counseling Center and mentored by Associate Professor Dr. Selvira Draganović.

The workshop aimed to foster academic success, covering various topics, including effective study habits, time management, and goal setting – all crucial elements in promoting student well-being. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) addressed during the session were SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4 - Quality Education.

Throughout the year, the Psychology study program diligently monitored students' feedback and identified the potential for students to enhance their academic success through the acquisition of key strategies. Consequently, the primary goal of the workshop was to present the crucial elements for academic success supported by research and studies conducted within the study program.

The workshop not only covered effective strategies but also incorporated scientific insights regarding the interconnectedness of the brain, body, and behavior. Additionally, the topics of stress, anxiety, and stress management were addressed.
