In this context, he underscored the significance of transforming Sarajevo into a regional education hub and sought the Ministry's assistance in promoting this idea.

The conversation also focused on the international recognition of local diplomas, an essential aspect for graduates seeking global opportunities. Furthermore, the delegation and Minister Mesihović explored the implementation of projects co-financed by the Ministry, demonstrating a shared commitment to enhancing the academic landscape.

The current Law on Higher Education and the upcoming activities regarding the adoption of a new law were also on the agenda. The Minister assured the IUS delegation of full support, recognizing the university's substantial efforts in bolstering the internationalization of both the university and the canton.
