Bridging Theory and Practice: IUS Law Students Tour BHANSA Facilities

IUS Law Students Tour BHANSA Facilities

On November 27, 2024, students from the IUS Faculty of Law (FLW), as part of their Public International Law course, had the unique opportunity to visit the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA) and its Approach and Airport Flight Control Unit.

Hosts Ms. Emina Turulja and Mr. Edin Hatibović offered an engaging overview of the Unit's operations, followed by an exclusive tour of the Sarajevo Airport Tower. The visit provided students with valuable insights into Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereign control of its airspace and the legal frameworks ensuring aviation safety.

This experience deepened the students’ understanding of International Sky Law and sparked enthusiasm for future collaboration with BHANSA. The Faculty of Law extends its gratitude to the hosts for their warm hospitality and invaluable contributions to the students' learning experience.
