Today at IUS ,2nd International Congress on Applied Biological Sciences’ 2016 was held. The positive impact of these advancements was not only evident in science and technology but also in economic growth and development. The program started with an opening ceremony by keynote speaker Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Gürsel.
The aim of this project was to provide an opportunity to share knowledge and experience in various fields of applied biological sciences and creating a platform to connect scientific scholars from various geographies from West, Central Europe, Eastern Europe as well as the Balkan region, Middle East and North America.
The chair of organizing committee Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayla Arslan stated that bilogical sciences and their applications have been important for economic growth and development. In the future, this will be increasing thus we are happy for hosting almost 200 academics and researchers in this congress at IUS today.

Due to the advancements in genomic technologies the fields like molecular biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pharmacogenetics, personalized medicine, nanobiotechnology, and neuroscience have evolved rapidly’’ said Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu.
