Green Innovations at IUS: Insights from National Workshop "Exploring DeepGreen Technologies for a Greener Tomorrow"

In a significant stride towards sustainable innovation, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) hosted the National Workshop on "Exploring DeepGreen Technologies for a Greener Tomorrow" from November 14-15, 2023. The workshop brought together national and international experts at the forefront of green technology. The workshop was just one of many activities organized during the first phase of the DeepGreenInno Project.

The workshop served as a melting pot for knowledge and expertise, welcoming experts from renowned institutions, including the University of Banja Luka, University UNION Nikola Tesla, University of Ruse, Innovation Greece, and SCITEC CNR. This diverse gathering of minds enriched the discussions and perspectives on sustainable technologies.

The key focus of the workshop was education and training of both young academicians and non-academicians. Participants engaged in immersive sessions delving into green materials, their deep tech applications, and the innovative potential they hold for entrepreneurship. The event aimed to equip the next generation with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive advancements in eco-friendly technologies.

One of the workshop's highlights was the visit to the Verlab Institute, where participants and students witnessed firsthand the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the verification of medical devices. The intersection of cutting-edge technology and healthcare showcased the immense possibilities for a sustainable and technologically advanced future.

The success of this workshop underscores the commitment of IUS to be at the forefront of sustainable technological advancements.
