Our design on National Theatre

On the 26th of May, National Theatre in Sarajevo will have the premiere of the Don Quijote ballet choreographed by Ronald Savković, famous French-Croatian artist. Promo-visual identity for this important event was done by our VACD graduate student Mustafa Furkan Hizir. This is one of the major successfully completed cooperation merges between IUS students’ curriculum activities and the institutions of culture that was made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lejla Panjeta, Head of Department of Arts. These projects aim to include our students in the industry, art projects and professional jobs, and engage them with the institutions of culture and art industry in BiH in an effective, productive and mutually satisfying way specifically paying attention to the design in theater, film and museum activities. Visual identity and design of the promotion of the ballet Don Quijote done by our student was accepted with satisfaction, highly regarded, successfully and professionally performed through the posters, flyers, banners and web in the National Theater in Sarajevo, and is promoted on every advertising post in the city and the media.

General Manager of the Ballet Department, Belma Čečo expressed gratitude and satisfaction regarding this successful cooperation and the creative visual solutions. Regarding the opening night National Theater will host the press conference where our graduate student as the author of the visual promotional identity was invited as guest artist and the cooperation between National Theater and IUS will be presented.
